Vital substance follows up his debut ‘‘Broken Pieces EP’’ with three new tracks on the Breakin Even Deep imprint.
‘’Before The Dark’’ continues with Vital’s light and dark themes, an obsession with film soundtracks, and a penchant for sampling old breakbeats.
‘‘Out Of The Shadows’’ is a broody, DJ Shadow inspired number, with trademark sliced up breaks, strings and moody atmospherics.‘‘The Fake One’’ is a stripped down Orchestral hip hop track, with Lurch Adam’s inspired, if a little angry ‘‘urban poetry’’ bringing the track to life. Deep. ‘‘Before The Dark’’ is another cinematic piece, with a strong atmospheric build up, and a lush horn and string arrangement to boot!

We are proud and totally honoured to bring you the next release from Breakin Even Deep, welcoming one of the co-founders of the world’s finest Breakbeat record label, Finger Lickin’ Records, Jem Panufnik, aka JEM STONE. Those of you who know the label will know his genius work already as Soul of Man amongst other guises, as well as the man behind the label’s infamous artwork.
We are delighted to have him onboard Breakin Even Deep with a superb remix EP of the Groove Diggerz version of Just Be Good To Me. As with his recent mixes for Kraak & Smaak, Rennie Pilgrem and Smoove & Turrell, the ‘Jem Stone’ alter-ego is all about the music, gently stepping away from purely DJ-orientated tracks. This EP is a real sublime journey that belongs on every iPod in the country, leaning slightly toward a deep house flava, both tracks will leave you wanting more. We hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Groove Diggerz return to action with their best single to date. From
their new album ‘Money For Good Times’ Funky Heroes
is about to explode onto a radio station near you, with its complex
production, low slung grooves and the Diggerz trademark Funky B-Lines

who was nominated for Breakthrough DJ at this years breakspoll awards
and has had a string of great releases out over the last year, his

Next up are Fidget /Electro House boys – Signal Drivers, this
time joined by Philly Blunt, they turn out a cool jackin house version
of the Funky Heroes, this’ll really get your head bumpin, a
really sweet mix for the house heads.

originally made for their new album ‘Money For Good
Times’ but it didn’t quite fit with the overall
feel of the album, but we love it so we’re gonna release it
